As part of our expanding range of services, we now offer full, in-house, Fire Engineering Services carried out by our highly experienced staff. We provide standard packages outlined below, or a solution tailored to meet your specific requirements.  

 

Fire Risk Assessment [FRA]

A [FRA] is a process involving the systematic evaluation of the factors that determine the hazard from fire, the likelihood that there will be a fire and the consequences if one were to occur. It will follow the PAS 79 format. FRA’s are generally non-invasive and carried out in an occupied building. The FRA will identify the minimum standards that are required to reach compliance with the Fire Safety Order. General overview of the format is;

• Identify the fire hazards
• Identify the people who are at risk
• Evaluate, remove, reduce and protect from risk
• Record, plan, inform, instruct and train
• Review 

 

Fire Safety Strategy

A Fire Safety Strategy is a report that reviews all aspects of a building in regards to Building Regulations [Fire Safety]. The report will identify the minimum standards that are required to reach compliance with the Building Regulations. General overview of the format is;

• Means of warning and escape
• Internal fire spread (linings)
• Internal fire spread (structure)
• External fire spread
• Access and facilities for fire service

 

Fire Safety Management Plan

A Fire Safety Management Plan embeds all part of a businesses fire safety required to show compliance with the Building Regulations and the Fire Safety Order into one document. General overview of the format is;

• Fire safety Strategy
• Fire Risk Assessment
• Policy and procedures
• Evacuation Strategy Plan
• Fire safety log book
