South Coast University Construction Project

We were appointed as project managers to deliver a complex refurbishment of an existing campus building. The building will function as an informal student study space, cafe and social space. 

The initial project management phase of the university construction project incorporated managing the consultant appointments and developing the detailed design.

Following the initial project phase an Archaeological dig was commissioned and is currently underway. This phase in the management of this build was due to Saxon artefacts being found close to the site in the 1990s.

Project Approval

The project has now gained planning approval. Tenders have been returned and following a period of consultation and advice with the clients, a main contractor has now been appointed. The contractor will be starting on site at the end of July.

Expected completion of this project is winter 2019.
