We’ve completed a Demolition & Construction Management and Logistics Plan (DCMLP) together with a Basement Construction Method Statement to discharge a planning condition on a small, high-end development in Hampstead. The package was turned around quickly to meet programme and has been signed off by the council with conditions.

Our scope covered demolition logistics, vehicle routing, compound/welfare planning, environmental controls (dust, noise, vibration), and the full basement methodology (piling, temporary works, waterproofing and monitoring). The submission addressed the specific planning condition requirements for construction management and basement works.

What we delivered

• DCMLP aligned to local routing, delivery booking and banksman-controlled access.
• Wheel-wash, sheeted loads and reactive road-sweeping measures for highway cleanliness.
• Dust/noise/vibration controls per best practice, with NRMM compliance and anti-idling.
• Sequenced basement method statement with monitoring, temporary works and waterproofing approach.
• Community liaison framework and mitigation register to track commitments to completion.

Result: Planning condition discharged with a council-approved set (with conditions), providing a clear, buildable route from demolition to completion on a constrained residential site.
